Dr. Christine Otani
Dr. Christine Otani completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB and her family practice residency in Saskatoon, SK at the University of Saskatchewan. She has practiced as a family physician here in Saskatoon since 2003 at Packham Medical Clinic. She is excited to be the new owner of Packham Medical Clinic, and looks forward to creating a wellness center in the future.
Dr. Lucy Nickel
Dr. Lucy Nickel grew up in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. She completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Saskatchewan. She opened the Packham Avenue Medical Clinic in 2002 and has been practicing family medicine there since. She also has a BA in Indian Studies from SIFC and a diploma in nursing from SIAST. She is proud to be a member of the Starblanket First Nation.
She is married and has two children, a daughter-in-law, and one grandson (so far). She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, snowmobiling and bowling.
Dr. Jennifer Johnstone
Dr. Jennifer Johnstone, a lifelong resident of Saskatchewan, completed all of her post secondary education at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Johnstone earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Native Studies prior to her admittance to the College of Medicine. Dr. Johnstone earned her M.D. in 2009 and completed her family medicine residency in 2011. Soon after completing her residency, Dr. Johnstone began work as a full time community family physician at Packham Avenue Medical Clinic. Dr. Johnstone enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in obstetrics.
Dr. Johnstone has a busy blended family at home with her spouse and 4 children (as well as too many cats). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as biking, fishing and camping.
Dr. Ashley Sasbrink-Harkema
Dr. Sasbrink-Harkema has been in practice since 2010 splitting his time between practicing as a family physician at Packham Medical Clinic and practicing as an Emergency Physician in the Saskatoon Health Region. He completed an Honour’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Saskatchewan and went on to complete his medical degree at the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. He completed a residency in Family Medicine as well as an additional specialty training in Emergency Medicine.
When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys travelling, spending time at the lake, coaching hockey, and cheering his daughter on in her dance classes.
Dr. Heather Wright
Dr. Heather Wright completed her medical degree and residency training at the University of Saskatchewan. She practiced family medicine in Calgary for 5 years before returning to Saskatoon in 2009. She has enjoyed settling into her practice here and having the opportunity to get to know families of all ages. She feels blessed to have a career that she loves.
When not practicing medicine she enjoys being a wife and mother to 3 awesome kids. Her family loves spending time on the lake in the summer and ski hill during the winter.
Daniela has worked at Packham Medical Clinic for 2 years as a Medical Office Assistant. She has enjoyed the time she has spent here and grown to really love the medical field. She enjoys being able to interact with all of the patients. Daniela was recently married and loves spending time with her dog, Kiara, and playing soccer.
Francine graduated from college in 2005 with her Business Administrative Certificate and Medical Office Assistant. She has been a part of the medical field ever since and really enjoys it. She came to Packham Medical Clinic in March 2018.
When she is not at work she is enjoying time with her family outdoors camping, hiking and swimming in the summer and staying warm indoors during the winter.
